A while back I posted what you see written below in BOLD... I don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden this doesn’t work as I described below ... Does anyone know what happened.... Was I dreaming and this isn’t even possible... did I fluke onto to something and then lost it?... ANYBODY, PLEASE!!!

OKAY, I have to tell SOMEBODY!!!... Late last fall I asked a question about comping that nobody had the answer I was looking for... perhaps what I was looking for wasn’t even available in 3.0... but here’s what happened, quit accidentally cause I was not trying, nor did I expect from past experience for this to happen.
I typically record 2 tracks and as many as 4 of the same thing at the same time... don’t ask why... but maybe 2 mic’d amps and 2 lines direct of my Pedal Steel... But previous to today, when I had all tracks highlighted at the same time so that when I selected TAKE 2 of Track 1, take 2 of tracks 2, 3, and 4 would automatically be selected as well... BUT, if I comped a section of Take 2 from Track 1, I’d have to make that same comp individually on Tracks 2/3/4.... NOT TODAY.... One COMPed and ALL Tracks Comped the corresponding Takes of the other selected track... For me this is a HUGE time saver, not to mention perfect Comps EVERY TIME... I’m like a KID in a Candy Store right now.... GO PRESONUS!!!

You will want to select all of your tracks, right-click one of the selected tracks and choose to "Group selected tracks."  Once they are grouped, what you do to one layer will affect all of the other layers.
