There are any number of reasons you would be seeing high usage in Studio One.
Here are some things you can do to potentially alleviate the situation:
1. Make sure you're running the latest build of Studio One (click the "Help" drop down menu in Studio One and click "Check for updates")
2. Try raising your buffer size in your audio devices control panel
3. If you are running the 64 bit version of Studio One, try the 32 bit version. This may seem counterintuitive but can often resolve a number of performance related issues
4. Use the "Transform" function -- this video was made for Studio One v2 but the process will be the same for Studio One v3 --

It's also worth noting that if the only issue is a large number in your performance meter (meaning you do not experience pops, clicks, or drop outs) then there is a possibility something outside of Studio One is causing an error in the display of data.
You may wish to create a support ticket if you're still unable to solve the issue.
