Getting the correct drum sounds from EZdrummer using a Yamaha drum module

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a Yamaha drumkit with a DTX500 brain, attempting to record the audio samples from EZDrummer. I have everything set up nicely, sounds play without latency through EZDrummer when I play on the kit itself.

However, I have two tom pads - one has a hi-hat sound which I obviously do not want. I've noticed that I can even unplug some of the pads from the module itself and they will still make a sound in EZD, which makes me think the whole kit is running through perhaps only one plug (I don't know how this is possible).

Does anyone have any guides for getting individual pads to sound in EZDrummer and how to remap the sounds that individual pads make? I'm so close to getting this perfect and it's frustrating!

Cheers

You may be better off in the Toontrack forum or Yamaha forum since your question is geared for those.
