This video shows a very useful way/workaround to store multiple output VST presets. Now if we could have this including the 'input-channel-setup' (for instance for more complex Vienna Ensemble Pro setups) that would be VERY helpful. Drag and dropping a full orchestra or a sophisticated drums-setup would be a huge time-safer.

I whole heartedly agree with this! As a VEPro user with multiple virtual instrument libraries in use of a single template, this would be very handy in creating large templates without dealing with minute details like setting the VST output for each instrument track to a channel in the console.
