Why Can't I assign Wah Wah (in Ampire) To an Expression Pedal?

This should be a simple task where Studio One Implements a MIDI Learn option where I can assign MIDI CC to different parameters in Ampire (or any plug in parameter for that matter) and Control them with my expression pedal or sustain or ***. I'm not for sure what the purpose was for making a wah wah pedal in Ampire if you can't control it in real time.  Like an Actual Wah Wah Pedal.  Can someone explain if this is possible?  I was able to assign the Wah Wah to a macro knob but I can't get that macro *** to be controlled by my expression pedal.  HELP PLEASE?

Thanks

I actually figured it out..  If anyone needs me to go into detail I can.  But short answer, it's in the Parameter/Control Panel above the tracks (Top Left Hand Corner in the arrangement view).  On the Control side you Edit the device you're using (Midi Controller/Keyboard) and when you select it, a window pops up where you can hit the Midi Learn Button and once you hit it, you move a knob, press a button or step on your expression pedal and then the control panel with show you have a control midi assignment ready for a parameter. You then can you the the Mouse Over or "recently touched" function to then assign your control to this parameter.  Hopefully that makes sense.
