can anybody tell me why using Impact the volume fader of the channel effects only the kick 1 and 2 and not the hall set?

Sorry, I don't have an answer, but I am following this as I have exactly the same issue. And using the Presence kits instead seemingly gives me no options to tune individual drums or alter their relative volumes (changing the velocity of one drum in the midi file alters them all - never known that happen before).
