I recently purchased a new windows 10 desktop, after my old macbook pro died. I have installed studioone artist onto my new desktop. However, I cant seem to add a new track when I open a new song - either by clicking the "+" or pressing T or opening the track menu (there is no option to add track in this menu).

I am using the Audiobox 96, and have sound coming out fine, but cant seem to get started in adding a track. What am I doing wrong?

I have checked my old mackbook pro, and it works fine on there to add a track. its only on my shiny new windows 10 machine that it doesnt work. Its driving me bonkers.

I'm experiencing this problem as well. When I click the button like shown in the screenshot simply nothing happens. Also the 'T' shortcut doesn't show any reaction.

I'm using Studio One Artist (Build 5.1.2.62686 from Jan 13 2021) on MacOS Big Sur (11.1)

Update: Copy/Pasting existing tracks in works as a dirty workaround.

Specs: 16G of memory, 2,8 GHz i7

I am having same problem. I don't see any option in the menu to add a track .. only remove track which is useless since there is no track to remove.

When I created a new song I keep getting "an unexpected error occured in this application ...

How can I fix these issue ???
