I am writing a score for a movie. Sometimes I write a song/cue in the middle and then go back and write a song/cue for a previous part in the movie. However, when I change the tempo for the previous part, it affects and changes the position of all later songs/cues and markers as they relate to the video. Is it possible to lock tempo changes, tracks and markers in the time line so that they do not advance or backup in the master timeline/video track? Or, is it possible to restart the measure counter in the middle of a song?
