I'm used to a macros like 'duplicate a track, mute and un-arm first one, record-arm second'. Sadly enough, a macro like this isn't possible in Studio One, as duplicating a new track doesn't change the focus to the new one. There's a 'next track' command, but in this case we lose multi-track ability; but even it doesn't work, if the macro is like 'Duplicate Track -> Next Track' if the track is last, this doesn't transfer focus.
I believe, Studio One always had this functionality broken. More than a year ago I created a support ticket #492441, describing what's broken and how it should be fixed. More than a year passed and no movement on fixing that annoying bug.
Hope the feature request could speed them up. Please vote.
