I am looking for some nice tutorial for PreSonus StudioLive AR16 USB mixer for drums recording. I need to record each separate channel, so I have 7 mics for drums and 2 overheads. But I have not found how to use all that faders along with EQs and other frequency adjusters. Is there any kind of tutorial or recommendation (default setup) of how to position each knob, button, any adjuster for each kind of a drum, for example for snare drum, kick, toms etc ? Also I wonder how to regulate volume on headphones so the volume of my playback should be adjusted separately from drum kit itself?(at the moment when I increase volume the playback and drum mics volume increases as well).
