Real scratchy sound on the HD9 headphones

Just got the nektar impact midi keyboard as well as the HD9 headphones. Just playing some simple piano sounds and the sound coming out is super scratchy and crackly.
I've got both headphones coming through the interface and the keyboard USB'd straight in to the laptop.
Any ideas!?

Was a latency issue. Maxed the sample rate and solved

Thanks that solved my problem,  selecting studio one>options>audiosetup>audiodevice>device block size.  tweaking this setting got rid of my distortion when playing a key.
