Hey guys,

Simple question I can't seem to find the answer to.

How do I record the onboard effects with my multitracks into my DAW?

So far I've seen that you can mix and add effects to the individual channels when mixing or playing back on the mixing console, but the audio is recorded into the daw dry and without effects. Is this true? Does this also apply for the volume adjustment with the faders as well? If I change the volume down to - 12db on a channel, but when it is recorded into the daw will the audio recording be back up at 0db or whatever volume it was at before going into the mixer?

I'm getting a few analogue synths and a drum machine, and would love to multitrack these into a daw but with using the AR16C's effects, EQ and volume control going in doing a proper analogue mix and then master in my DAW.
Thanks!

I'm either looking to get the AR22 USB incase I get more hardware and microphones, but the 16C seems pretty good right now.

The USB outputs will not contain the FX from the mixer. Only the main mix USB sends will.

So you need to record Ch17/18 into your DAW.
