Hi all, quick question. In the majority of the Focusrite interfaces, through the Focusrite Control software, it is possible to create your own direct mix sent directly from the interface. This comes particularly useful when for example you want to get an almost zero latency mix (avoiding to use DAW software monitoring when tracking) from two or more sources. (for instance a Kemper Profiler and some playback tracks from your DAW).

I haven’t found a way in the Universal Control software of the Studio 68 to get a mixer view of the inputs/outputs and I was quite baffled by this and I noticed that Presonus allows to control inputs and outputs via software only with more pricey interfaces...

It’s a shame that I need to rely on an external mixer with additional cables around…

Do you know if I’m missing something or if this is the true (and sad) reality?

Cheers,

Claudio
