Ok, so we have to remove the VSL drivers to use VSL interfaces in OSX 10.11. What's next?

I was also having the issue where I could not get my 22VSL to show up in OSX 10.11.+.  I followed the directions to completely remove the VSL driver as stated.  That worked, and now I can use my interface again.  Cool.  Now I am curious, are you working on a fix to bring the VSL capabilities back to OSX?  ETA?  I could have bought the standard USB interface for less $$$.  I picked the VSL because I wanted to use those features that only come from the driver.  Although I am relieved that my interface is working again, I kind of feel like I have half of a product.  Thanks!

Unfortunately the issues with OSX 10.11 are 100% an Apple issue.

Apple decided to lock down something called "kernel audio processing". Kernel audio processing is what allowed the VSL (and a number of other products on the market, PreSonus or otherwise) to function.

Unless Apple were to decide to reverse this decision, the VSL software will not function.

This, and the reason the VSL software is being discontinued, is outlined here:

Does the 22 VSL have advantages over the AudioBox USB?
