It boils down to economics.  I think you're better off going to Sphere.  Splice is nearly $17/mo for Pro, while Sphere works out to about $14/mo.  You get all PreSonus updates, plug-ins, and music libraries with Sphere for as long as your remain enrolled in Sphere.
