I have recently purchased the Digimax DP88 and the Apollo Twin USB interface, in order to record with more channels.

I'm recording on a PC with AMD ryzen 5 processor, 16GB RAM.

When connected via ADAT cable I can't seem to get rid of crackling sounds...I tried recording with 48 and 44,1 kHz, setting word clock to the DP88, setting it to the apollo (when using external syncing, the dp88 flashes red and blue) ...still cracks..

Also changing the buffer size didn't solve the problem. I'm working on Ableton 10..

Anyone experienced the same issue?

Tipps are much appreceated!

We found that if you use the DP88 as BNC WordClock master provided the most stable performance with the UAD Apollo.

Make sure you're using quality BNC Cables that are proper impedance.

Make sure you're using quality ADAT Lightpipe cables for proper fit.

UA has a DP88 we sent them, you can contact them for further assistance.
