To put it simply, what I would like is a feature that I've seen in some programs where a midi fader or a knob doesn't alter a setting on a VSTi until it matches the current setting in the VSTi.
For example, let's say a fader that is in the 0% position is configured to affect a variable inside of a VSTi that is set to the 70% position.
Right now, if I move the fader to the 5% position then the variable in the VSTi will jump suddenly from the 70% position to the 5% position.
What I want and have seen in some programs is to have to move the fader all the way to the 70% position before the fader alters that variable.
