Question

I have a Line 6 Spider 4 amp and FBK MK 2 foot-switch which I need to try so somehow connect together with Studio One.

Hi.  I have looked at that amp and it appears not to have a USB connection on it.  This means that you need a mic/interface set-up to record the amp output.  If the amp had a USB connection you could've used that, but since it doesn't, its more of an old school mic the amp job.  Presonus interfaces start at about £100, an SM58 mic is about £100, cable cost about £15-20.
