Question

When I'm using software that allows me to change my inputs I have no issues. The problems I run into are when I use software that doesn't have options to select inputs. There is no way for me to force recording on only one channel through Universal Control or through Windows, even though I'm only using one microphone. This results in any captures I take only having audio on one side (left or right).

I chose this box because I wanted to use an XLR mic and now I find that I may have to return it over this very simple missing capability. it's a solid unit otherwise and if it just could serve as a mic pre-amp I would be happy. Its baffling to me that such an obvious use-case would not be supported.
