I have been a user since S1 2, And have had various issues and problems throughout the various upgrades and updates. As it turns out, nearly all the issues i had were my lack of understanding of what i was doing. With help from support and presonus video tutorials as well as you tube vids, i have been a successful user for a while. I will say tho, i was still apprehensive to upgrade ( or crossgrade, as i am a S1 4 pro user) after hearing about problems with third party plugins (of which i have a few...), But once again, a reply to a question in the forum from presonus support had the answer. Just make sure your plugins are up to date. Which i am happy to say mine all are. I installed S1 5, installed melodyne, loaded up the program, and hey presto! It all works. All of it. All my songs, all my projects are there and ready to go. All my third party plugins work. Melodyne works. I just may now be able to open some current work in it, and not worry about loosing everything! Thanks presonus for the ease of crossgrading and the new features i never knew i needed till now.
