I read the PDF owners manual for ATOM controller and have read that in order to transpose notes an octave up or down I need to hit the <shift> key on the bottom left of the ATOM controller and simultaneously hit the <UP/DOWN> button under the NAV section. I have done this and do not hear the notes being transposed. So I thought maybe I need to record MIDI notes and then use the Shift + the UP/Down buttons to affect notes already recorded. I did this and still do not hear the notes being transposed. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong. Thank you. By the way, if it matters, I am using this in Logic Pro.
