Names in UC StudioLive

In the UC app for the StudioLive, under the channel faders, the channels are listed as "Ch.1, Ch.2" and so on. But when you name the channels, as in "Kick, Snare", etc, there is no channel number associated with the channel. If you click on the channel settings gear wheel, a little number pops up and sits above the name and below the fader. Why can't that number sit right there in the regular channel fader view along with a name (unless it's somewhere and I've totally missed it)? "That's no big deal, you have the name". True, but when you are calling out channel assignments to stagehands or helpers at the other end of a subsnake, you need to give them a number on the subspace box, not a name. Not to mention, every other tablet app I use (Yamaha Stagemix, *********, Allen & Heath, even the lowly Soundcraft Si Compact's app has this number beside or above the name). Certainly not a showstopper, but a bit of a time-waster. Thanx!
