Signal with Preamp 0db Level

Having the preamp in 0db, it is normal to continue receiving signal in a StudioLive Series 3? This is happening with a drum mic or instruments. 

Environment

*NSM 16.8

* Studiolive 64S

* Latest firmwares

0DB is not off, if the sound source is loud enough you will see metering, this is normal and to be expected.
