Every single day I use the "Copy External Files.." function. It would be fantastic if I could set up Studio One to always copy external files I use in each project. Either during file import or during save. Pretty please.

(I couldn't find a subcategory for general functionality of Studio One)

And further - this question should be asked by Studio One WHEN I IMPORT... not just when the song is being saved. I might have a situation where some imported files I don't want saved in the session and others (likely most) I do.... this seems like an odd choice of workflow. And it is also a bit dangerous to not be able to automatically copy files to the session folder on import. I think in general it would be good to just look at Pro Tools when making decisions about file handling... certainly Studio One has improved on many production workflows from PT, but file handling is one thing PT has down... and one reason it is the global standard for audio post. Please consider updating this particular element. I think a preference for always copy files on import, as well as getting asked per import could work. I also like PT's audio import window where I can choose "ADD" for simply adding the audio to the session without copying, or "COPY" if I want to copy the files to the session folder. This is helpful as sometimes I'm doing simple edits of things in my library where I know I won't have to access this session again and don't need to duplicate data, but at other times I want to make sure everything is self contained... and there are times where both things are happening in the same session. Thank you!
