Question

I have no experience with any DAW. I purchased the Audiobox iTwo and I'm trying to set everything up with my laptop. I'm only trying to set this up for home voiceover, but you buy the product & it's either sink or swim with - what appears to be - no guidance or setup instructions or anything.

I don't know i your laptop is a mac or windows. But you might want to start here https://www.presonus.com/products/AudioBox-iTwo-Studio/downloads. That has the iTwo's manual as well as the Universal Control program, which installs the driver( on windows anyway and the program is where you change your bit rate and latency[real time delay- if it's too low you might get pops and clicks], I don't own a mac so I don't know anything about it there)

Hi Richard. I know, it can be bewildering at first! I started like you with no experience a few years ago but take it from me,you will pick it up bit by bit and start getting the results you want. As for guidance, it's the way of the world now and you really do have to go looking for what you need. There's plenty on youtube and on Presonus' own site as well as loads of other sites... loads of guidance for the absolute beginner. For example, look at these vids:
