Question

Several of my Mac have optical digital audio out from the headphone jack. In the Saffire I could input this using the optical mini to optical s/pdif cable, and it had a software setting to use ADAT as s/pdif. Apparently this is a no go on the Quantum. Is there any kind of setup that will get the digital audio out of the Mac and into the Quantum 2626?

I’m having a similar issue sending out via optical output on iMac...to My 32 S

The route ive used Optical Out ( IMac)  to Sony Dat inputs  to obtain the AES digital output.)

When the StudioLive recieves this it’s on OVERLOAD immediately DAT is fixed output...
