Hi all,

Brand new to Studio One 5 and really like it.

I'm trying to export WAV files from Garageband to S1. I have created a song in S1 with the same specs from GB. Tempo 89 and in the key of Dma, although I have tried this with different tempos and key signature from GB to S1. Each time, when I import the WAV files the bars won't line up. So adding MIDI drum, etc., to the audio doesn't work. Any suggestions?

In Garage Band, add a measure at the beginning of the track. Have a midi click or sound hit quarter notes for the measure as a lead in. Mix it down/ Export it at the same 44k or 48k or whatever you're using in studio one. Then try dragging it in again. In theory it should line up. If it doesn't you have a lead in click to line things up with. Just make a new midi click and line the wav file up with it.
