Can busses be redirected to null output?

In Pro Tools, I often had multi output instruments (like Native Instruments Battery) output groups of sounds (like kicks, snares, hihats, etc) to busses and then fed those busses into an audio channel which I could record and take various takes with various effects and modifications and then take those audio clips into new tracks for arrangement.

In Studio One, I can do this, however I can't mute the bus without it also muting the audio going into the stereo channels I have armed for monitoring and recording.  I can turn off monitoring and record them, but sometimes I'll do different variations of a second stage effects chain with outboard gear and record from the right audio channel when needed.  And I can simply let it play with the audio channels the busses are fed set to monitor, but then the output from the bus and the audio channel both play the sounds introducing phasing.

It seems like I should be able to simply redirect the output of a bus to something null like "No Output" and rely on the audio channel's monitoring, but that doesn't seem to be available.  From the bus I can only set output to Main L/R, various FX channels, and sidechains.

I understand it may be a niche use-case, but I've always found it helpful to cement as much as the signal flow as possible and simply monitor and record from a single point.  It doesn't make any sense that I can hear the audio from the bus while it's in transit to an audio track.
