What is the step by step process for taking a live drum snare hit and converting it to a "tci file" for Slate Trigger 2

I am trying to create individual drum samples, snare, tom, kick, etc, from live drum recordings to load into my Slate Trigger 2 file library.  I've watched several YouTube vids but everything I have found is for other DAW's. I have general understanding of the process but I guess I am missing a step or two because when I create a wav file and proceed to convert it to a Slate "tci file", it doesn't work. The step I think am missing is called "consolidate" in Pro Tools, "glue" in Reaper, which makes each individual audio section its own file that can't be stretched out.  It kinda takes a snap shot of the section of audio.

If there is a step by step Studio One video out there please provide me the link.

Thanks
