First, I have installed S1 5 demo version and I don`t know why it was link to Onedrive. So, before I decided to professional version, I uninstalled Microsoft Onedrive and S1 5 demo app on my system before I made an online purchase of S1 5 professional.

So, i started to download S15 professional installer from the product link and I was surprised again when I open the app because it is still a Demo version (which means it was still connected to Onedrive from previous installation) then I manually enter the Product key then i turns to Professional. I carefully downloaded all the bundles avoiding the word Onedrive (as it appears as a default until now) and then the program runs Ok.

One thing it bothers me is why is Onedrive is still a part of my S1 app directory for making a new song.... etc and even my instrument library is under Onedrive( which i already uninstalled).

I am aware that a Sphere package is link to Onedrive but I did not chose that product.

Question is, how to exclude Onedrive on my S1? Is my S1 registered permanently in presonus database link to Onedrive(which i dont like)? My plan is to uninstall and re install again but It will be the 3rd time and hopefully Onedrive is out of my expectation.

Sincerely, Olsen Hegna

Wow, After more than 3 months not a single answer from PreSonus.

That I call a very good service.

I did not know, that I'm as a Sphere subscriber seem to be forced to use OneDrive.

OneDrive is so stupid. It has a lot of very dangerous limitations as far as I understand it. At least the settings I easily can find and the documentation on the internet to the standard OneDrive is very disappointing. And you have chosen that as your standard file space for your costumers??? Why can I not connect all my StudioOne files to Dropbox or any other cloud? And why am I all in all forced to use a cloud for my personal data?

Very strange data politics!

You can be sure, that I very soon will switch to another DAW and that I will unsubscribe, when there is no easy solution and when you will not provide it quite soon to me and the initial questioner.

Sincerely, Matthias Flehl
