if we buy a used one we do not want the software. we just want to use the hardware we bought. the device driver should be available regardless of who registered it or not so we can use it with our own software. this level of imposed control by a company is ridiculous. I would advise to stay away because scarlet or maudio or steinberg hardware have free driver downloads and 5 minute installation time and you are good to go. that is caring about the customer. this system over here is brutal. no one should be forced to register hardware just to use it even if they bought it new. never again.
