No windows audio only Studio One

Hello,

   I have recently lost al my audio from windows “itunes/web browser/ everything” but all Studio One still works. Everything updated, settings are good, drivers have ben uninstalled and reinstalled. Please help

Is it a laptop or desktop? Do headphones Work? What version of Windows? Are you using an interface for all your audio, splitting it depending on application, or not have an interface? A bit more information would help you get more help. But I'm going to assume you're on Windows 10 and just go from there.

With every problem in Windows restart, don't shutdown and start, reboot! First thing is to check audio devices. In Studio One > Studio One > Options >  Audio Setup - to the right of "Audio Device" is the device name. Right click on the speaker in the notification area and open sound settings. Check your output device (It could be a different than the one that Studio One uses so make sure it matches the same output as Studio One. Check your volume level while you're there. Try Itunes or whatever. If still no sound go back to the previous window and click troubleshoot. If you still have no luck you might want to look at the volume levels for apps, so right click the speaker back to settings. At the bottom there is 'App volume and device preferences'. Open Itunes or whatever and play audio. It should show the application in the list with it's own volume meter and it's own output device. Since it's probably still not working if you've gotten this far check the volume and try all of the output devices until you find one that works (you might only have one, I have four).

    Open the Control Panel and open the Sound applet. Right click on the speaker, and choose to show disabled devices and show disconnected devices, anything new show up? Is there more than one speaker listed? It could be on the wrong default device you want to check them all. On the speaker listed and on the bottom left click Configure and test, any sound? Just click next twice. On the bottom right there's a Properties option. Look at the bottom is the device enabled? if not make it so. Check the level in the level tab and make sure the speaker doesn't have red on it. Under the advanced tab you can change the bit rate. The default is 16 bit test it, switch it 24 and test again. You might want to uncheck exclusive mode while you're there, If it doesn't make a difference I'd reenable it. Then try a different Speaker. That's all I've got off the top of my head.
