i just bought the Remote and MP3 add on online and my remote add on worked fine but the MP3 did not. I can only find the evidence of my purchase under orders and it won't pop up under my software until i register it, but there was no product key in the receipt.

There is no product key, the add-on must be downloaded and activated.
