It would be nice for you guys to add a strum midi function similar to FL Studio. It would also be cool if you guys could incorporate more tools to cater to a modern rap producers workflow similar to FL Studio. By modern rap producers I mean producers like wheezy, metro boomin, ATL Jacob etc.. They all use FL Studio for a reason. A stock soft clipper should be an addition. In new rap music a lot of producers make beats into a soft clipper. It gives the beats a certain type of knock. Also I feel like the sound engine can be a bit more full. It doesn’t knock like fl studio does with nothing on the master channel. FL Studio sounds fuller. The way it clips with nothing on the master channel actually sounds good compared to every other DAW. Maybe use the same sound processor as FL Studio. Make the sound engine equivalent to FL Studios sound engine. Also theres a need for a new type of sampler with the same functions as FL Studios legacy effects where you can edit the release of the sample in real time and the waveform changes etc... these little things will make Studio One the biggest DAW. I don’t want to have to go to FL Studio for a certain knock. I want it in Studio One. Please make this happen with the next update.
