I have an external keyboard connected to my Focusrite interface via two midi cables. I can add the focusrite as an external midi keyboard ok. When i play keys on the keyboard I see the midi monitor shows all is well. However i can not get the focusrite to show up as a midi input and therefore can not use the external keyboard. What is even stranger is that the automation window in the top left of studio one shows controllers moving.The keyboard is a Roland Gaia, this has USB but i am not able to get this working consistently through the USB. I had it all working and saved the setup as a template only for the next time not to work. I resorted to the more messy analogue audio out and midi cables but again i cant get this working even though it seems everything is correct.
Any help really appreciated.
