Question

Dear Presonus Team,

is there a limited recording time in Studio One 5 Artist. I bought a Studio 24C, which included a free Artist version of Studio One. Now there is a counter going done, concerning the maximum recording time.

I thought its a full Artist version. Could you please tell me if this is true, couldnt find anything in the specifications.

I'm not a Presonus Rep but I noticed mine shows 14.02 days record time.  My assumption is this is how much recording you can do based on the resources of your computer system.  For example, If I added another hard drive then my recording time would increase since I have more resources available.  Ultimately a presonus rep nees to verify my answer but I think that is what the timer is referring to.

Bill above me is correct. Basically if you record yourself, after 14 days (non stop) of recording a single stereo track at your current audio settings, your hard drive is going to be full. It just gives a heads up to make space or buy a new drive before you run out.
