Why does the upgraded Eris E5 XT no longer contain the Kevlar subwoofer cone of the original E5? Disappointing.

I was about to purchase but the lack of this feature seems like a downgrade, not an upgrade.

Where are you seeing that the XT is different? Both specs sheets say it's a "5.25-inch woven composite low-frequency transducer".
