Forgive my poor english for it's not my native language, just learning :)

I've just bought a pair of Eris E5 and have them linked to my audio interface with TRS to XLR balanced cables.(which is scarlett 2i4).

Things goes fine on about the first 5 minutes, and by ignoreing the noise of tweeter it's sounds good.

But every time when I stop playing anything about 5 minutes, one of my monitor just goes into a wired silence and meanwhile the power light keeps on.and even tweeter noise gone.By shut the bower off and keep it that way for about 10 minutes I can get that monitor work again :(

I'm kind of a music guy and have lots of experience about all kinds of audio equipment BUT I've never see anything like this. I've tried to exchange left and right to make sure all my things from computer to interface to cable to power supply are all totally functional.

Does it a disfunction of your "keep it silence when open the monitor"kind of technology(which I kinda like)or it caused by another reason ?

Or I just unfortunately have a broken monitor just out of box :(

Sorry about language again and hope it doesn't cause any misunderstanding or trouble while reading.

Waiting for response :)

This is per design and in conjunction with following International Power Consumption Laws and Guidelines.

Energy Conservation Mode: Ceres C3.5 BT and Ceres C4.5 BT speakers enter a standby power mode when not in use for an extended period of time and are compliant with European Directive ErP 2009/125/EC.
