Question

Hi,

I am using the SL 16 in my home studio. I am feeding the SL 16 to my DAW for recording through the main mix. I have also build a monitor mix for the headphones box using Mix 9 and 10.

I would like to place a limiter at -0.1 dB on all channels going to my DAW to prevent clipping while recording.

I would like to also have some reverb and possibly delay to support the signer going to my monitor mix but not to my DAW.

How would I be able to do this?

Each individual channel will have a limiter and can be set to -0.1 or what ever is needed. An aux send can be set up and effects routed to only that aux but not to the usb send. The owners manual will explain the setup process for the aux send. It’s a free download at the SL16 Presonus page.
