Question

I have an instrument track and I've dragged in a virtual instrument, IMPACT XT onto it. I click EDIT and the edit window opens and I've only got GM Drums (General MIDI Drums) as the instruments? Why cant I see my virtual instrument choices in that drop down window?

This is the same for Pattern editor as well.

I dragged Presence onto the Timeline, dragged an empty area then pressed F2.

I am now in the Editor and Presence is what appears in the upper, left-hand corner of the Edit Window.

What steps are you taking?  Maybe your Impact track was not selected when you went into Edit?
