I'm new to Studio One and have been really enjoying the Pattern Editor feature. It's wicked helpful since I don't have the money to hire a drummer and my neighbors would probably get angry, hahaha. I'm wondering if there is a way to translate the native MIDI sounds for acoustic kit sounds or acoustic kit samples? If not, would a drum replacer work? Like, if I make a pattern, plan it out, and then translate that pattern piece by piece as their own track and then slap a drum replacer on it? Any help on this would be great!
P.S. As far as replacer's go, I was looking at the DrumXchanger from SPL. And if I couldn't figure out how to make the pattern editor sound like an acoustic drum kit then I was going to try NI Studio Drummer
