When you have a large disabled template (100s of tracks), just having the small color tab on the left of the track header is not as helpful for differentiating / delineating between tracks. Please consider colorizing the entire track header even if the track is disabled (maybe with some other UI indicator that the track is disabled). Cubase does this and makes browsing / selecting tracks much easier.
