I'm not even sure what to say. I'm totally baffled. There seems to be at least a dozen problems related to using a mouse in studio one.
I'll start with the mouse wheel. When I use my middle mouse wheel, it may do one of five different things. It's totally unpredictable. Sometimes, I get the desired outcome, and it scrolls across the timeline. sometimes it doesn't. What is the mouse wheel supposed to do and why do I have very little influence over these actions? Why isn't the mouse behavior configurable?
I am seriously on the verge of having an aneurysm. I've been using Reaper for several years. The only reason I am trying to learn studio one is because I really like your guys' midi and production controllers. But my workflow is unbelievably slow in S1. It takes me 5-6 hours to complete a task in S1 that would have taken me about 30 minutes in Reaper. Can't you just let us customize all of the actions?
I almost feel like I am being too rigid for asking this, but after reading all of the questions and requests on this website, I have decided that it's not me- it's actually S1 that is rigid.
