I've been battling this for a while and have not found a solution yet. I'm using a Mac mini Catalina, i5, 16GB RAM and solid state drive. Studio One 5, audio is coming from Allen & Heath USB. Changing sample size makes no difference. Would like to post a sample of the noise but I don't see that option here.
