Why do I have to reinstall Universal Control every time I switch on my computer?

Every time I switch on my computer I have to reinstall UC. That's pretty much it - I get Ableton up and running and I'm told that AudioBox could not be found, I reinstall UC and we're fine for the session. Until I switch on again.
