anyone crashing in 5.2 and Mojave 10.14

Hey folks running 5.2 on a 2013 Mac Pro ( trashcan) 10.14 Mojave..... I have too many plugins that I have accumulated since getting into Digital audio in '95.... anyway, I can't work for more than 10 minutes without the beach ball spin and the screen going completely red.... soon after that the whole computer freezes... can't even force quit. I have to do a hard shut down... Let's start there.
