Hello,

I'm guessing the answer is now, but here goes.....

I have a Firestudio Tube that I purchased new a number of years ago.  Since it is no longer supported, I need to upgrade to a new recording interface.

In order to save money on preamp purchases,  I'm wondering if it's possible to somehow use the preamps in my firestudio tube, to expand inputs on something like the studio 192?  Possibly using firewire (since there is no adat input/output)?

Thanks,

Greg

Unfortunately the only way to expand channels on the 192 is to use an ADAT device such as the D8 or DP88.
