Studio 24c keeps "timing out" when no playback is coming through and/or inputs not being used. Although after I unplug and plug the usb back in it resumes normal use. For example I could be listening to playback and if there is a silent spot or the playback ends the studio 24c will both cease to emit sound and my computer will no longer be able to use it as a playback device until I rip out the usb and plug it back in. Both the playback and input functionality cease to work until I unplug and re-plug.
Yes, I have the USB selective suspend feature disabled and the problem persists.
Yes, I have tested it on different computers and USB ports and it still persists.
This is an amazing annoyance and I have been working around this brilliant "feature" by having a constant practically inaudible playback of some sort from Spotify or any other source I can find. I come to this forum now since I am currently getting more involved with recording and actually considering buying a completely different DAC hoping it's a compatibility issue.
