Hi guys, Ive just come over from Protools and I'm struggling to understand how to create individual tracks so midi files write each individual instrument eg Kick Snare HH etc to individual audio tracks, I'm very confused about how to do this in Studio one. In protools, there was the step input feature which would allow me to assign each corresponding instrument from say Realidrums to its own track and write it in audio. I liked writing those to mono but was just using that as an example. Basically I'm trying to route midi to audio with individual tracks. I can write the midi part to audio as the whole midi performance but I really need the individual Drum instruments to write to say 8 seperate audio tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please speak slowly as I am not so tech savvy. I know a little but I'm new to home recording so not up on all the lingo.
