Question

tried to use event fx but didn't have the option with midi/pattern events, only audio events. how can I use event fx on midi/pattern parts as well? and can you explain why is that?

I could be mistaken but I thought the event fx altered the wave files. So you wouldn't be able to do that with midi data since it's just note info for something else to play. With 3rd party effects depending on the effect and manufacturer you might be able to create an automation lane CC34 or whatever, and control effects that way. Or you could split the midi event to a different track bounce it to audio and apply the event fx you want.
